In Alvaro’s Words

Alvaro was an exceptional storyteller. His almost half-century of conservation work in Costa Rica provided him with a wealth of experiences that he recounted in an engaging and often comical manner. This section of Alvaro Ugalde: A Retrospective includes some of Alvaro’s writings as well as recorded audio sessions of him sharing some of his most memorable times as he worked to protect the biodiversity and other natural treasures of Costa Rica.
